Summer is Better at Deerfoot Lodge

What’s better than walking out of a cabin and having the entire Chippewa Flowage in front of you? How about having all the amenities and gear you need for a perfect day out on the water! And that’s exactly what you get during the summer at Deerfoot Lodge…especially when you’re up in Sawyer County celebrating the Fourth of July. Here are just some of the things we have that make your trip up here easy and filled with all the summer fun.

Deerfoot Lodge Summer Amenities

When you stay at Deerfoot Lodge you’re right on the water, but we also have some unique amenities to help you make the best of your stay. Whether you’re gearing up for a day out fishing or a night watching fireworks we’ve got you covered. We sell bait, gas, and marine oil right on our property. If you want to stock your cooler, we sell bags of ice as well as alcohol you can take out on the boat with you.

If you happen to have any issues on the water, our neighbors All Mechanical are available to help with any marine, small engine, or power sport repairs.

Deerfoot Lodge Summer Hours

As the saying goes…the early bird gets the worm and many of our guests on fishing trips live by that mantra. So the Deerfoot Lodge Bar and Grill opens at 9am during the summer to make sure you have what you need to get your day started or keep it going if you were up before the sun!

Fireworks Shows on the Chippewa Flowage

If you’re staying at Deerfoot Lodge to celebrate the Fourth of July, there are several fireworks shows you won’t want to miss. Chief Lake Lodge on the west side of the Flowage is hosting a firework show at dusk on July 3. And on July 5, The Landing is hosting a firework show at dusk.

To make it a full night out on the water, grab some food to-go from the Deerfoot Lodge Bar and Grill, and stock up your cooler before heading out.

We look forward to seeing you this summer!
